Cheap Easy Simple Gaming Setup For Laptops

This set up is assuming you already have a laptop and should cost under $80 for everything.

First let’s start off with making sure your desk is clear. If you lack gaming equipment, your set up may be kind of dull but this step by step guide should help make it look presentable to your friends.

One of the first things you need is a mouse pad, no ordinary half a foot square pad. A desk size pad makes one of the biggest differences.

This large mouse pad allows you to set your laptop on top of it and have room for your mouse, also it’s RGB with multiple modes.

I’m sure you already have a mouse for your laptop, if not that’s great because I’m suggesting a new mouse.

I recommend a gaming mouse, specifically here for aesthetic purposes, but they also provide many uses in game.

This one is also RGB for that gaming feel.

This mouse switches through colors fast and looks great with the mouse pad.

Next up we need the mic, true you can use a mic from your headset or from your laptop itself, but it is not as likely to be high quality. On the plus side a microphone looks very nice and does not necessarily break the bank.

If you have a desk similar to mine, this specific microphone will be difficult to mount (my desk is thick because of drawers)

So you may need to get something thin and heavy to hook it onto, otherwise it should not be a problem.

This mic is $30 and often times has plenty of discounts to drop it under $25.

After this, your set up is complete, however lighting can make your set up feel much better, so it’s best to use LED lighting too, it goes well with the mouse pad and mouse.

This photo above was taken with my lights off and LED lights on, the lights were set to red.
